Kenya’s new car
The Mobius, Kenya’s cheapest brand new car (under US$11,000), is built for the terrain of Africa. It’s stripped off air conditioning, power steering and many features and targets rural dwellers. Designed and funded by an American billionaire, the first 50 units have been ready since last year. Check it out at Sameer Business Park in Nairobi.

New Patrick Mavros Collection
Africa’s renowned jeweller recently launched the Sea Urchin Collection at its Nairobi Village Market store. The oceanic inspired collection was born when Patrick picked up shells from the beach in Mauritius, where they live. The result is a range of jewellery, designed and handmade, that combines sterling silver and 18ct gold with stones, diamonds and pearls.

Something to celebrate
