Tour de France
Kenyan-born British cyclist Chris Froome will be among the riders hoping to be in contention when the 100th edition of the world’s greatest bike race comes to a conclusion along the Champs-Élysées in Paris on 21 July. Starting in Corsica on 29 June, the Tour features 21 days of racing, covering a distance of 3360km, with six mountain stages through the Alps and Pyrenees and four summit finishes – a gruelling route expected to favour Froome’s particular hill-climbing strengths.
